Avery Huffer

Avery Huffer, Staff Writer

(She/Her) Avery Huffer is a senior at Mission Hills High School, and this is her first year as a staff writer with the Silvertip. She hopes that during her last year of high school she can polish her skills as a writer and an illustrator. When she isn’t playing or coaching field hockey, you can find Avery listening to podcasts at home while she bakes banana bread for the third time that week, or battling the workload of her many Honors and AP classes. After graduation, Avery has aspirations to attend a 4-year university where she can pursue her dreams of becoming a forensic anthropologist. This year, her main goal is to facilitate the circulation of true, unbiased information to her peers.
