Salma Ramirez

Salma Ramirez, Co-Editor in Chief

In the four years that she has been a part of the Silvertip, Salma Ramirez has been the Grizzlyland Editor, Copy Editor, and is currently the Co-Editor in Chief; she focuses on the Opinions, Grizzly Den, and Sports pages. Sharing smiles and laughter with everyone she meets, Salma enjoys picking people’s brains and having heart-to-heart conversations that bring her closer to her Grizzly family. On her leisure time, Salma enjoys reading (her favorites, Sylvia Plath and Pablo Neruda) and journaling at local coffee shops and bookstores or having picnics with friends. She is passionate about immigration, environmentalism, and promoting mental health. As a senior, Salma hopes to do some Eat-Pray-Love-inspired soul-searching before heading off to college next fall.
