A busy LA fitness is full after school hours, where many students go to workout. "I love to go with my friends, because the workout is more productive," said freshman Andrei Hilario.
Junior, Keala Custodio is full of excitement as she prepares for the big game. Before every game, Custodio wears the same pair of pants in order to play to the fullest!
Senior Nathan Young prepares for his final season playing tennis here at Mission Hills. "We have a team warm-up and a group huddle, and I'll give a motivational speech of some kind," said Young.
The MHHS Freshman Girls soccer team posed together after one of their many wins. The captains of this successful group are Joselyn Torres, Lynsey Phillips, Leah Folloso and Briana Trujillo.
Junior Nayla Rosas set for the "60m" sprint. Rosas, wearing gray, competes in the "60m" at the Winter Track & Field Championship at Arcadia High School. Rosas said, "I PR’d and ran an 8.43."
Payton Aleksandrian shows off her MHHS soccer hoodie as she plays on the freshman soccer team. She loves her sport but the unavailable trainer makes her question her safety on the field. "I wish we had a stable trainer so I know I can give my all on the field."
Figure skating combines technical skill with artistic expression, captivating audiences with mesmerizing performances that showcase passion and skill. Skaters benefit from physical fitness and mental acuity, promoting personal growth and self-expression. "Skating taught me a lot about patience...it’s a lot about being patient with yourself and continuing to keep going," said Heidi Rahmo, Mission Hills alumni.
