Boys Volleyball

   The boy’s volleyball team had a very eventful week, which consisted of a tournament to end the week. On Mar. 1st, the boys would start the week off right, with a home win against Mission Vista, three-one in sets. On Mar. 3rd, the grizzlies would win their first tournament game, against San Diego, two-one in the set. On Mar. 4th, the grizzlies became runner-ups in the tournament, winning two of their next three games. Those two wins were against, High Tech Mesa and High Tech San Diego, both ending two-one in sets. The only game they lost was against undefeated Elsinore, ending two-one in sets. This upcoming week the boy’s volleyball team has three games, which means another very eventful week for them. The first game is on Tuesday, Mar. 7th, an away game against Valhalla, at 6:00 p.m. The second game is a home game on Wednesday, Mar. 8th against Grossmont, at 6:00 p.m. The third and final game, is another away game against Fallbrook, on Friday, Mar. 10th, at 6:00 p.m. Come out and support them at home on Wednesday Grizzlies!

Baseball

   The baseball team had one game last week, which was an away game against Hart, that ended in a Grizzlies win, four-one. This upcoming week the baseball team has three games this week. The first game is an away game against Rancho Bernardo, on Tuesday, Mar. 7th at 3:00 p.m. Then the baseball team on Thursday, Mar. 9th will go back home to again, play Rancho Bernardo, at 3:15 p.m. The third and final game will be played on Saturday, Mar. 11th, an away game against La Quinta, at 2:00 p.m. Go support them on Wednesday Grizzles!

Softball

   The softball team this week had four games at the Cougar Classic tournament. The first three were seeding games, with the softball team winning two of the three games. The first seeding game was on Monday, Feb. 27th, ending in a loss of four-one against Westview. The next game was on Friday, Mar. 3rd against El Camino, ending in a big win for the grizzlies, eight-three. The third and final seeding game was against Scripps Ranch, on Mar. 4th, ending in a close seven-six win for the grizzlies. Unfortunately, the softball team would lose their first and only bracket game, against Cathedral Catholic, six-one, abruptly eliminating them from the Cougar Classic tournament. This upcoming week, the softball team has yet against tournament, the Hilltop tournament, which will consist of three games this week. The first game will be on Thursday, Mar. 9th against Valhalla at 3:30 p.m. The next two games will be on Saturday, Mar. 11th, the first being at 11:30 a.m. against Clairemont, and the second against University City at 3:30 p.m. Go Grizzlies!

Boys Lacrosse

   The boy’s lacrosse team had one game this week, an away game against Vista Murrieta, on Tuesday, Feb. 28th, which ended in a 16-2 loss. This upcoming week, the boys have two games. The first is on Tuesday, Mar. 7th, an away game against Valley Center at 7:00 p.m. The second game is a home game against Rancho Bernardo, on Friday, Mar. 10th at 7:00 p.m. Go support them on Friday Grizzlies!

Girls Lacrosse

   The girl’s lacrosse team has two games this week, the first a home game, against Francis Parker, on Tuesday, Feb. 28th, which ended in a 17-5 loss. But, the girls would bounce back and win an away game against Valley Center on Friday, Mar. 3rd, with a score of 12-8. This upcoming week, the girls have two games, the first being a home game on Tuesday, Mar. 7th at 7:00 p.m. against Academy of our Lady of Peace. The second game is an away game against University City on Friday, Mar. 10th at 6:30 p.m. Go Grizzlies!

Track & Field

   The track & field team had a duel meet against Oceanside last week, which they won. This upcoming week, the track & field team has an invitational tournament, which is the “Redondo Nike”. This tournament is on Saturday, Feb. 11th at 9:00 a.m. at Redondo Union.

Girls Basketball

   This girl’s basketball season came to an end this week. Their first game was against Rosary Academy, which they won 57-54, on Tuesday, Feb. 28th. Unfortunately, on Thursday, Mar. 3rd, the girls lost to Del Norte by a score of 61-57, abruptly ending their season. Make sure to congratulate them!
