Boys Basketball

   The boy’s basketball team had three games this week, with the first on Wednesday, Feb. 1 away at Torrey Pines, winning 57 to 49. The next game was another away game against La Costa Canyon, on Friday, Feb. 3, which ended with a loss, by a score of 69 to 57. Finally, the boys ended the week with a defensible battle, against Mission Bay, which was also an away game, on Saturday, Feb. 4, ending with a 44 to 35 loss. The Boys enter their final week with a record of 13 to 13 and play two prominent league opponents, El Camino, and town rivals, San Marcos. On Wednesday, Feb. 8th, the boys play El Camino, home at 7:00 p.m. Then, the boys end the regular season with a home game against town rivals San Marcos, on Friday, Feb. 10th at 7:00 p.m. End it off strongly Grizzlies!

Girls Basketball

   The girl’s basketball ball had four games this week, against San Marcos, Westview, Del Norte, and La Jolla Country Day. On Monday, Jan. 3, the girls played an away game against town rivals, San Marcos, and got a dominating, blowout win, by a score of 73 to 25. The girls would continue off that win, and beat Westview, away on Tuesday, Jan. 31, by a score of 78 to 69. The girls would continue the winning streak, by beating Del Norte in a close away game, on Friday, Feb. 3, 52 to 50. Unfortunately, on Saturday, Feb. 4, the streak would end a 25 to 3 La Jolla Country Day, by a score of 73 to 53, at a neutral site for the game. This week will be the final week of the girl’s amazing regular season entering with a record of 17 to 9, the girls look to end it off strong against Rancho Bernardo and El Camino. The first game is on Tuesday, Feb. 7th, a home game at 7:00 p.m. against Rancho Bernardo. The final regular season game is a home game on Friday, Feb. 10th at 5:30 p.m. against El Camino. End it off, strong Girls!

Boys Soccer

   The boy’s soccer team had two games this week, against El Camino and town rivals San Marcos. On Wednesday, Feb. 1, at home, the boys tied against El Camino, one to one. The boys would bounce back on Friday, Feb. 3, and beat town rivals San Marcos, two-one, at home. This upcoming week, is the boy’s soccer team’s final regular season game, with two, against Sage Creek and La Costa Canyon. On Wednesday, Feb. 8, the boys play away at Sage Creek at 7:00 p.m. Finally, to end the regular season, on Friday, Feb. 10, the boys play an away game against La Costa Canyon, at 7:00 p.m. Come Support our Grizzlies!

Girls Soccer

   The girl’s soccer team had two games this week, against Rancho Bernardo and Torrey Pines. On Tuesday, Feb. 31, the girl’s played Rancho Bernardo at home, and beat them two-one. But, on Thursday, Feb. 2nd the girl’s played an away game at Torrey Pines, and lost four-one. Entering the final week of the girl’s regular season, they play two home games against San Dieguito Academy and Poway. On Tuesday, Feb. 7, they play San Dieguito Academy at 5:30 p.m. Then, end their regular season against Poway, on Thursday, Feb. 9 at 6:00 p.m. Go Support!
