Boys Basketball   This week the boy’s basketball team faced two league opponents; Carlsbad and Torrey Pines. The first game was an away matchup against Carlsbad on Wednesday, Jan. 11. Unfortunately, the score ended with a 74-53 loss for the Grizzlies. But, on Friday, Jan. 13, the boys bounce back and got a massive win at home against Torrey Pines, with a final score of 72-63. This upcoming week, you can expect two games against two more league opponents, home versus La Costa Canyon on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. and across-town rival, San Marcos on Friday at 7:00 p.m., at San Marcos. Girls Basketball

   This week the girl’s basketball team had two games and a weekend showcase. The first game was an away game against Carlsbad on Tuesday, Jan.10th, in which the girls dominated and won by a score of 81-35. The second game was at home against Westview, on Friday, Jan. 13, in which the girls fought and won the game, 68-59. This weekend, the girl’s team participated in the MLK showcase, which had two games on Saturday, Jan. 14, and Monday, Jan, 16. On Saturday, Jan. 14, the girls lost against Centennial, 73-44. This upcoming week, they have their final showcase game against Wilsonville on Monday and two games. One is a home game against Del Norte on Tuesday, Jan. 17 at 7:00 p.m. and an away game against Rancho Bernardo on Friday, Jan. 20 at 5:30 pm. Come support our girls this week!

Boys Soccer

   This week the boy’s soccer team had two games against league opponents, Vista and El Camino. On Wednesday, Jan. 11, the boys start the season off strong with a 3-0 win against Vista. Then, on Friday, Jan. 13, the boys tie El Camino. This upcoming week, the boys play two more league opponents, San Marcos, and Sage Creek. On Wednesday, Jan. 18 at 7:00 p.m. they play against San Marcos at home, and play at Sage Creek on Friday, Jan. 20 at 7:00 p.m. Go Grizzlies!

Girls Soccer

   This week the girl’s soccer team had two games against Canyon Crest and Rancho Bernardo. On Tuesday, January 10th, the girls played an away game against Canyon Crest, losing two to zero.  They bounced back on Thursday, Jan. 12  at an away game against Rancho Bernardo, tying RB one to one -1. This upcoming week the girls play two games, against Torrey Pines and San Dieguito. On Tuesday, Jan. 17 they play Torrey Pines, home at 5:30 p.m., and then on Thursday, Jan. 19, they play an away game against San Dieguito at 7:00 p.m. Come support our girls, Grizzlies!

Girls Water Polo

   This week the girl’s water polo team had one game and a tournament game. On Tuesday, Jan. 12 the girls played an away game against Canyon Crest. On Saturday, January 14th, the girls played a tournament, where they matched up against Otay Ranch and unfortunately lost 12-four. This upcoming week, the girls have two games, one on Tuesday against Rancho Buena Vista and the second on Thursday, against Oceanside. Go Grizzlies!
