The Silvertip

Marlene Calderon
Marlene Calderon is a senior at Mission Hills and this is her third year working on the Silvertip. She is currently one of the Co-Editors in Chief after having served as News and Opinions Editor. Marlene attended the School of The New York Times Summer Academy in NYC over the summer in order to grow as a journalist and gain knowledge that she can bring back to the newsroom.  Marlene is always singing random songs and wishing she was at a concert jamming out to her favorite bands. When Marlene is not in the journalism classroom or on the football field with her mellophone, you can catch her at the beach or a local coffee shop sipping on a vanilla latte.
