Shagun Kamboj, a senior here at MHHS, is always involved with the school throughout the school year. She is an ambassador for the San Marcos Promise, a grizzly ambassador, the marching band president, and a tutor and ambassador for the I Am AP club. Her time-managing skills are astonishing, as she manages to hold these hard working positions all while getting the best grades she can and also writing college essays.
“I don’t have a lot of time outside of marching band and school, but I feel like I find ways to involve fun like being a part of many clubs and even just meeting new people,” said Kamboj.
She works very hard, yet still finds pleasure in her endeavors, even when it might seem nearly impossible. She is a role model for students, as she is proficient in every corner of her skills, whether they be academic or social.
“Most of the time I feel like people rely on others to motivate them but I guess I have always relied on myself,” said Kamboj.
This elucidates just how confident Shagun is, and the strong belief she has in herself will surely take her far in life.
