Stephanie Hernandez looks back on this moment when she pulled a stunt during the game. “This specific football game was one of my favorites in the last four years because of this stunt and the sunset in the background,” said senior Hernandez.

As her senior year begins to end Stephanie takes a look into her past years at MHHS, by sharing her memories and plans outside of high school.
“I will be attending Cal State Fullerton in the fall of this year and majoring in Computer Engineering,” said senior Stephanie Hernandez.
To add on, Stephanie will be majoring in computer engineering because of her love for working with technology and science. She finalized her decision because of her role on the robotics team, because of building, coding, and customizing the robots. The encouraging environment and robotics competitions made her love of computer engineering flourish more because of all the fun she had with teammates and building.
“My best memories were cheerleading at football games and competing in CIFs senior Stephanie Hernandez said.
Cheerleading is by far one of Stephanie’s most cherished memories here at MHHS. She was a flier which is the person in the air during a stunt. Being a flier is very challenging and hard to learn which made her love it. She also met her closest friends on the cheer team because of the bondings they experienced, pep rallies, and the ups and downs during cheer season.
“I have known Stephanie since elementary school. We have experienced almost every high school moment together and she is an amazing person. She is easy to talk to, a very supportive friend, and very respectful to her peers and teachers,” said senior Gabriela Sarmiento.
Lastly, Gabriela explains that throughout Stephanie’s rough patches, she was always positive and an amazing person. Stephanie has always been there for Gabriela since elementary school. They have had many memories throughout these years like prom, and all their biggest accomplishments. Gabriela says Stephanie is a sweet and caring girl and will continue to be friends and support Stephanie in her college career.
All in all, Gabriela explains that Stephanie has not only been a good student but a very good friend and that she wishes the best for her in her college career. “I had an amazing time experiencing Mission Hills and for the freshman to come get ready for a rollercoaster,” said Stephanie Hernandez.
