As a senior, Wyatt Richards is preparing for his next endeavor after high school. Richards has experienced a very productive school year filled with academic successes and challenges. His hard work this year has paid off as he starts his journey to college.
To begin, Richards has many positive memories from Mission Hills.
“My favorite class was fourth period AP Gov,” Richards said.
Richards had recently taken part in the AP Government class elections, in which students compete for the spot of class president. Richards had to create a campaign team and prepare for debates and the election. Richards won second place in the competition and became vice president of the class. This is a memory Richards said he will remember forever.
Additionally, Richards works as a lifeguard after school. Richards serves his community by watching over the pool and teaching kids how to swim. Richards works most days after school on top of being an Eagle Scout. He is very dedicated and passionate about his work, as he spends many hours serving the community.
“My favorite memory is going to football games,” Richards said.
Richards attended many football games during his time at Mission Hills. He would attend with his friends and always show his school spirit. Wyatt is an avid supporter of the football team and has several friends on the team.
“I plan to major in kinesiology in college,” Richards said.
Richards hopes to attend Cal State San Marcos, where he will continue to pursue his education. His career goal is to become a chiropractor so he can work in the medical field. Richards is passionate about helping others and hopes to continue this mindset in his future job.
All together, Wyatt Richards is an outstanding student whose academic and extracurricular efforts have made him stand out from his peers.
