Sports Recap: April 6, 2022

After a long spring break, student-athletes are back and doing better than ever.

Baseball
Before leaving for break our baseball team played against Classical Academy and won five to four, in the same week they played against San Marcos and lost 14 to zero. During our spring break they had three games against Classical Academy; winning the first game ten to two, losing the second game ten to five, and winning the third game six to four. Making the current record eight wins and five losses. Upcoming games for our baseball team this week; Yesterday, Tuesday April 5 our boys went against Westview and lost one to zero.. They are also going against them again this Today, April 6 at 3:30 p.m. this time on their field.
Boy’s Golf
Before leaving they had two games, against Poway twice. During the break they had a game against Westview. They also have a game this Thursday, April 7 at 3:00 p.m. against Del Norte against Vista Valley CC.
Girls Lacrosse
Girls Lacrosse only had one game before break and no games during spring break. The one game they played was against Canyon Crest Academy and they lost 13 to nine. The current record is one win and 17 losses. They have two games this week; Yesterday, April 5 they went against Westview and lost 11 to 12. Tomorrow, Thursday, April 7 our girls lacrosse will be going against Del Norte at 7:00 p.m. on their field.
Boys Lacrosse
The week before leaving for spring break they had two games one against Del Lago Academy and won 11 to seven, in the same week they also played against Mira Mesa and won 14 to two. During the spring break they didn’t have any games. Making the current record five losses to three wins. Yesterday, Apr. 8 at 7:00 p.m. they had gone up against Mission Bay and won nine to three. They will also be playing this Friday, Apr. 8 against Classical Academy here on our field at 7:00 p.m.
Softball
Before leaving for break our softball team played against San Pasqual and won nine to two, they also played against Steele Canyon and won four to three. They didn’t have any games during the break. Making the current record 12 wins and five losses. Yesterday, Apr.5 our grizzlies went against Del Norte and lost three to two. They will also be playing against Vista today, Wednesday, Apr.6 at 3:30 p.m. on their field. They will also be playing this Friday, Apr.8 at 3:30 p.m. against Poway.
Boys Tennis
Boys tennis had two games before leaving to break they played against Valley Center and Fallbrook. They also have a game this tomorrow, Thursday, Apr.7 at 3:15 p.m. against Valley Center.
Track and Field
Before leaving for break they had meet with Valley Center. Track and field will be meeting tomorrow, Thursday, Apr. 7 at 3:30 p.m. against Fallbrook on their track. Make sure to show up and cheer them on!
Boys Volleyball
Boys Volleyball had three games before leaving for break. The first game was against Rancho Bernardo and lost three to zero, they had a game against San Marcos and won three to zero, and the last game was against Liberty Charter and won three to zero. They didn’t have any games during the spring break. Making the current record ten wins and six losses. Upcoming games for boy’s volleyball; Tomorrow, Apr. 6 against Ramona at 5:00 p.m. on their court. They also have a game against Fallbrook this Friday, Apr.8 at 5:00 p.m. on their court so show up and cheer them on.
