Sports Recap: February 22, 2022
This is your weekly sports recap

As the flowers start to bloom, so do the spring sports. This season the sports that will be covered are varsity baseball, boy’s golf, boy’s and girl’s Lacrosse, softball, boys tennis, track and field, and boy’s volleyball.
Baseball
Last week the boy’s baseball team started off losing against Chaparral four to three. The next game they played was against La Jolla winning eight to zero. Making the current record one win and one loss. The upcoming games are this Thursday, Feb. 24 at 3:00 p.m. at Mission Hills against Murrieta Valley. They will also be playing against Olympian this Saturday, Feb.n26 on campus at 10:30 p.m. so don’t be late!
Boy’s Golf
Today was the start of boy’s golf, going up against Mt.Carmel at Vista Valley Country Club. The next game that they will be having is on Thursday, Feb.24 against Mt.Carmel at Mt.Woodson at 3:00 p.m.`
Boys Lacrosse
Boys Lacrosse’s season starts this Friday, Feb.25 against Rancho Bernardo at 7:00 p.m. here on campus, so make sure to show up and show your support for their first game of the season.
Girls Lacrosse
Girl’s lacrosse also starts their season this week against Temecula Valley this Thursday, Feb.24 at 7:00 p.m. Be sure to cheer them on to a new season!
Softball
Last week our softball team started their season strong winning both games. The first game was played against Mira Mesa winning one to zero and the next game that they played was against Cathedral Catholic winning five to two. Today, Tuesday, Feb. 22, they went up against Imperial winning 12 to two. With their record of three wins and no losses, they’ll play against Otay Ranch at 7:00 p.m. at Kit Carson Park, Wednesday Feb. 23.
Boys Tennis
The boys tennis team’s season will not be starting until the first of march, until then they have no upcoming games
Track and Field
Track and field will be meeting this Thursday, Feb. 24 at 3:15 p.m. with Carlsbad and Westview on Westviews field! Make sure to show up and cheer them on!
Boys Volleyball
Boys volleyball hasn’t started their season just yet, they don’t have any games until the first of March. So sit tight and wait for their first game!
