Sports Recap: February 7,2022

Boys Basketball
Last week the boy’s basketball team had three games, one versus Westview winning 74 to 43, the second was versus Rancho Bernardo winning 63 to 48, and lastly winning the game versus San Diego 64 to 45. The school’s basketball record is now 19 wins and six losses. Wednesday, Feb. 9 is a game versus Poway at 7:00 p.m. here at Mission Hills. This Friday, Feb. 11 Mission Hills is going against San Marcos at home at 7:00 p.m. This will be the last game of the season so seniors don’t miss the game and cheer them on!

Girls Basketball
Last week The girl’s basketball team played three teams in one week. They played against Bishop and won 70 to 47. The team also played against Westview and won 63 to 56 going into overtime. Lastly, they played against Rancho Bernardo and won 79 to 33. Leaving the girl’s basketballs record at 18 wins and six losses. This week the team will be playing on Wednesday, Feb. 9 here at Mission Hills at 5:30 p.m. against Poway. Thursday, Feb. 10 they will also be going against Mount Miguel at their court at 5:30 p.m. The last game for girl’s basketball is Friday, Feb. 11 in the gym at 5:30 p.m., and make sure to dress out.

Boy’s Soccer
The boy’s soccer team had two games last week, they played against Valley Center losing two to zero, and losing two to zero against Fallbrook. Making the boy’s soccer team with ten wins, ten losses, and one tie. Today Monday, Feb. 7 the boy’s soccer team will be playing against San Marcos on their field at 5:30 p.m. This week Wednesday, Feb. 9 at 5:45 p.m. they will be going against Escondido on their field. They will also be facing Mt.Carmel Friday, Feb. 11 at 5:30 p.m. that will be held on their turf.

Girl’s Soccer
The girl’s soccer team also had two games last week against Westview and lost one to zero. The next game they played against Del Norte won two to zero. Leaving the girl’s soccer team with a record of six wins, six losses, and four ties. Wednesday, Feb .9 they will be playing against San Marcos at 5:00 p.m. at Mission Hills so don’t miss it and cheer them on. Girl’s soccer will also be playing against Poway Friday, Feb. 11 at 5:30 p.m. at Mission Hills to close off the season so be there!

Girls Water Polo
Last week girl’s water polo played two games one against Valley Center and lost 14 to three, they also lost to Ramona eight to four. Last week girl’s water polo also closed their season against Rancho Buena Vista losing 11 to eight. Making the final record, for the girl’s water polo record one win and 18 losses.
