Sports Recap: May 2, 2022

Baseball

Last week our baseball team had three games against San Dieguito; the first game they won four to zero, the second game we won nine to one, and the third and final game we six to two. Making the current record 17 wins and seven losses. Today, May 2, there is a home game against San Pasqual at 3:30 pm. They have a game this Wednesday, May 4, against San Pasqual at 3:30 p.m. on their field. They also have a game this Thursday, May 6 they will also be playing against San Pasqual at 3:30 p.m. here on our field so do forget to show up and cheer them on. 

 

Girls Lacrosse

Girls Lacrosse had one game last week against Westview they won 14 to 10. Making the current record four wins and ten losses. Upcoming games for grizzlies are tomorrow, Tuesday, May 3,  against Rancho Bernardo at 7:00 p.m. on their field. 

 

Boys Lacrosse

They played two games last week; one against Fallbrook and lost 14 to four, and played against San Dieguito Academy and lost 18 to four.  Making the current record of five wins and nine losses. They will be playing against Sage Creek tomorrow, Tuesday, May 3, at 7:00 p.m. on their field. They will also be playing this Friday, May 9 against El Camino at 6:30 p.m. on their field.

 

Softball

Last week softball had two games; one against San Marcos and lost 15 to 2, and another game versus Del Norte and lost five to one. Making the current record as 14 wins and nine losses. This week they will be playing two games; Tomorrow, Tuesday, May 3 against Poway at 3:30 p.m. on our field, so make sure not to miss out! They will also be playing against Mt. Carmel this Thursday, May 5, at 3:30 p.m. on their field.

 

Track and Field

They have a meeting this Friday, May 6 for the Valley League Finals against all the valley schools including; Escondido, Fallbrook, Ramona, San Pasqual, and Valley Center. This will be held at Valley Center at 3:00 p.m. 

Boys Volleyball

Boy’s volleyball had two games last week, one being the last game of their season. They played against San Dieguito Academy and won three to zero, the last game they played was against El Camino and they lost three to one. Loving their final record of the season to 22 wins and ten losses. Good job on your guy’s season, until next spring!
