Sports Recap for April 26, 2019

Your weekly recap for all things sports.

Girls Lacrosse:

The girls went against Canyon Crest Academy on Tuesday and unfortunately lost 7-12. However, the girls made their comeback on Thursday in their game against Helix Charter High School. They will be going against Carlsbad next Tuesday on our turf. Go Grizzlies!

 

Boys Lacrosse:

Grizzlies had a tough loss against Canyon Crest Academy, with a shutout loss 0-13. They face Carlsbad High School for a conference game.

 

Softball:

The varsity softball team triumphed over San Marcos High School on Tuesday with a score of 9-0! Sadly, they lost in their game against Torrey Pines High School 2-7 on Thursday. Their next game is this Saturday against El Camino High School. Come support your school!

 

Baseball:

This week, it’s the Mission Hills Grizzlies versus the Canyon Crest Academy Ravens. On Monday, they fell 3-9, but bounced back on Wednesday 7-4. They are hoping to finish the week strong today, with their final game at CCA.

 

Boys Tennis:

The varsity tennis team just finished their season after a series of wins and losses. They had a spectacular season and we are excited to see how the team will prosper when they make a comeback.

 

Boys Volleyball:

The boys have a home game against Escondido at 5 p.m. on April 26. Unfortunately, this will be the final match of the season and our last chance to see them play so lets make sure to support our Grizzlies!
