Students rise to the top in their AP Government election

Similar to real life, AP Gov students prepared and conquered in a mock presidential election.

Makenna Gough and her party celebrate their well earned win

The Banana Party? The Green Communist Party? The Full Send Party? The annual AP Government presidential elections have officially arrived! In these government classes, students are given the opportunity to host their own political party—this includes creating their own party platform and agenda. In order for a party to function, there must be active roles which include: a candidate, campaign manager, media consultant, loyal party volunteer, and a political strategist. By the end of their preparations, each class will announce their next class president.

President of 6th Period AP Government, Rohan Rao supports all citizens, regardless of if they have a home.

However, as a democracy should be, there could only be one elected president per period.

Congratulations to our victorious presidents!
