Sports Recap for March 1, 2019

  • Our varsity girls basketball team sadly lost against Mount Miguel in their CIF State game, with a close score of 48-49, bringing an end to their season; we hope to watch them thrive again next season.
  • Of their three games this week, our varsity baseball team lost two close games, ending with scores of 3-4 and 2-3 against Point Loma and Murrieta Valley, respectively; they brought home a win against San Dieguito Academy with an impressive final score of 5-1.
  • Beginning the season well, varsity softball won both their games, winning 6-0 and 10-1 against Ramona and Westview, respectively.
  • Our varsity boys tennis team tied 9-9 against Mount Carmel in their third match of the season.
  • In two matches against El Camino, our varsity boys golfers lost, with final scores of 231-194 and 228-216.
  • In their first match of the season, varsity boys volleyball lost 0-3 against Sage Creek.
  • To start off the season, varsity boys lacrosse played against San Dieguito Academy, where our Grizzlies lost 7-14.
  • In intense races against Westview, our varsity swim team lost, but continue to improve their swim times.
  • Track had another scrimmage this season against Ramona and Vista in preparation for their future races.
