Isabel Ner is a junior at Mission Hills, who first joined The Silvertip in her freshman year. Isabel believes that The Silvertip plays a crucial part in informing and unifying the student body. In her spare time, Isabel loves to read nonfiction books (favorites including the Six of Crows duology, by Leigh Bardugo, and the Throne of Glass series, by Sarah J. Maas), play lacrosse, listen to music, and spend time with family and friends. She is an aspiring activist, who is passionate about immigration and women’s rights, and bettering the lives of people of color. Something that sets Isabel apart from others is her middle name; Arwen, given to her by her father, taken from the hit film series Lord of the Rings. Isabel hopes to advance her writing skills, and hopes to find a vocation through writing for The Silvertip.
