Though I lived the first half of my life in the Bay Area, my time in San Diego has shaped the ambitious, nature loving person that I am. My two years in journalism has given me the opportunity to reach other students on a raw level, both in the class and through the product we put out. I also work towards this goal as the West Coast Editor and Representative for Saddle and Bridle Magazine, which I got involved with a couple years ago while competing in horse shows spanning throughout the United States. These activities along with my two horses keep me a busy bee, but I still try my best to let loose by hanging out with friends as much as I possible. After I graduate this year, I hope to continue to be able to genuinely reach people to promote understanding and awareness through my writing.
