(She/Her) Lizbeth Mendoza is a senior who joined the Silvertip staff in 2020. Lizbeth believes that the Silvertip is more than just a school news outlet; it is a place where students get to inform their community by expressing their interests through writing. Lizbeth has won AVID secretary for the 2020-2021 school year. Along with being secretary, she also co-runs an AVID Instagram account, which updates peers on current scholarship opportunities and deadlines. In her free time, she enjoys being with her family, volunteering in her community, and listening to One Direction. On campus, Lizbeth is also involved with Link Crew, Pen Friends, the California Scholarship Federation, and the National Honors Society. She plans to attend a UC or a CSU school in the 2021-2022 school year.
