Sports Recap: May 9, 2022

Baseball
Last week our baseball team had three games against San Pasqual; In the first game, Mission Hills lost with a score of two to four, the second game’s score was 13 to four, and winning the third game with a score of five to four. The Baseball team’s current overall record is 19 wins and eight losses. There will be a home game on Monday, May 9, against Westview High at 3:30 p.m. here on our field.

Girls Lacrosse
Girls lacrosse had two games last week; one against Rancho Bernardo losing the game with a score of six to 14. The girls then came back with a win against Carlsbad six to five. Their current record is five wins and 11 losses. They are entering their first round of CIF games in the 11th seed against Bishop in La Jolla at 5:30 p.m. Go support our Grizzlies in CIFs!

Boys Lacrosse
The Boys lacrosse ended up having two games last week taking home the win for both games. The first game was against Sage Creek and won with a score of 12 to seven. They won the second game nine to five against El Camino. Their current overall record is eight wins and eight losses. The boys are about to enter their first round of CIF on Tuesday, May 10, against and located at Santana High school at 7:00 p.m.

Softball
The Girls Softball team had two games last week. The first game was Tuesday, May 3, an away game against Poway High. The final score was eight to nine. The following game was a home game against Mt. Carmel, the girls lost with a score of two to five. Their current record is 14 wins and 11 losses. May 10, is softball’s senior night, a home game against Rancho Bernardo at 3:30 p.m. With their final away game being Thursday, May 12, at San Marcos High School. Come support and wish our seniors a great last home game!

Track and Field
This Saturday, May 14, our track team will be participating in the CIF prelims at Canyon Crest Academy starting at 10:00 a.m. Make sure to make it to cheer on our grizzlies!
