Sports Recap: April 18, 2022
This is your weekly sports recap
Baseball
Last week our baseball team had a busy schedule playing four games. They played against La Jolla Country Day and won five to three. The second game they played was against Scripps Ranch and lost seven to one. They played against Coronado and they lost seven to six, and the most recent game they played was against Bonita Vista winning nine to three, making the current record 11 wins and seven losses. Today, April 18, there is a home game against Sage Creek at 3:30 pm, so don’t forget to cheer them on. They have a game this Wednesday, April 20, against Sage Creek at 3:30 p.m. on their field. On Friday, April 22, they will also be playing against Sage Creek at 3:30 p.m. on their field.
Boy’s Golf
They have two games this week; tomorrow, Tuesday, April 19 against Rancho Bernardo at Bernardo Heights at 3:00 p.m. They also have another game this Thursday, April 14 against Rancho Bernardo at Twin Oaks at 3:00 p.m.
Girls Lacrosse
Girls Lacrosse had two games last week; they lost against San Marcos 13 to four, and they also beat Sage Creek, nine to seven. Making the current record two wins and nine losses. Upcoming games for grizzlies are Friday, April 22 against Mt. Carmel at 7:00 p.m. on their field so don’t forget to show up and show your support!
Boys Lacrosse
They had one game and lost against Canyon Crest Academy, 12 to one. Making the current record of four wins and six losses. They will be playing against Valley center tomorrow, Tuesday, April 19, at 7:00 p.m. here on our field. They will also be playing this Friday, April 22 against Rancho Buena Vista at 7:00 p.m. here on our field, so make sure to show and cheer them on.
Softball
Last week softball didn’t have any games, leaving the current record as 13 to six. This week they will be playing two games; Tomorrow, Tuesday, April 19 against Mt. Carmel at 3:30 p.m. on their field. They will also be playing against Rancho Bernardo this Thursday, April 21, at 3:30 p.m. on their field.
Boys tennis
This week they have three games; tomorrow, April 19 they will be going up against Valley League at San Pasqual at 1:00 p.m. They also have a game this Wednesday, April 20, against the Valley League at San Pasqual at 1:00 p.m. Lastly they will be playing against the Valley League at San Pascual at 1:00 p.m.
Track and Field
They have a meet this Wednesday, April 20 at 3:30 p.m. against San Pasqual, here on our track so make sure to cheer them on.
Boys Volleyball
They had three games last week; winning against Ramona, three to zero. Beating El Camino three to one, and losing against San Marcos three to zero. Making the current record of 14 wins and seven losses. They have one game this week against San Dieguito Academy, tomorrow, April 19 at 6:00 p.m. here in our gym. So make sure to go and show your support.
