The Sun Sets on the Fall Season for Our Teams

CROSS COUNTRY
Cross country will be having a meet this Friday, Oct. 29 for the Valley League Cluster meet number two, which will be held at Kit Carson Park. The women’s race will begin at 3:55 p.m. and the men’s race begins at 4:45 p.m. Good luck to all the grizzlies!
FIELD HOCKEY
Field hockey had two games last week versus Sage Creek. Our field hockey team now has a record of three wins and ten losses. The next game will be this Wednesday, Oct. 27 versus Valley Center held at the Coppens court at 3:30 p.m.
FOOTBALL
Football had a game last Friday versus El Camino, winning the game 27 to 6. With seven wins and two losses, the next home game will be this Friday, Oct. 29 versus San Marcos High School. This means it’s Discovery Bowl Week, so to show your support for the school, dress up with fun themes from ASB throughout this week. Monday, Oct. 25 was “Country versus Country Club,” Tuesday, Oct.26 was “Dress Up As Your Favorite Faculty,” and Wednesday was is “Bring Anything but a Backpack” day. On Thursday, Oct. 28 dress you dressed up in costume, and Friday, Oct. 29 red out and get pumped for the game versus San Marcos! Make sure to show out on Friday at the San Marcos stadium!
GIRLS GOLF
Girls golf had a game on Wednesday for the CIF play-in, and another game on Tuesday, Oct. 26 for the CIF play-in. On Wednesday, Oct. 27, another game will be held for the CIF play-in.
MARCHING BAND
This past weekend, our Cardinal Alliance had another comp performance. After a great day at Ramona High School for Big Orange Classic, we ended off with a 75.5 — the highest second comp score EVER!! Every Saturday through November 13, they will be performing at competitions through the Western Band Association. They do not have a competition on Nov. sixth but will have a 9-hour rehearsal. GIRLS TENNIS
Last week our girls tennis team played Fallbrook winning 12-6, making the new record five wins and five losses. What a season!
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
Girls volleyball played their last game versus Fallbrook last Thursday losing one to three. Their season concluded with 14 wins and 18 losses. Best of luck to all those playing in tournaments this weekend!
BOYS WATER POLO
Last Saturday, boys water polo had a game versus Classical Academy winning 14 to 7, making the new record 14 wins and eight losses. They played San Marcos on Tuesday night for their senior night, and they have one last game this Friday, Oct.29 versus Granite Hills at 7:20 p.m. at the opponent’s pool.
