“Growing up I almost always had tree sap between my fingers and grass stains patched onto my dresses. Through photography, painting and travel I have fallen deeper and deeper in love with the natural world. I guess my core belief would be to always resort to kindness and protect your heart. I do my best to live by this belief on a day to day basis by looking up to others who embody generosity and strength. Every Monday and Wednesday I get to visit with residents at a senior living facility. As a volunteer, I hear hundreds of memories and stories. One in particular was told by a 93 year old woman who devoted her life to giving bicycles to Native American children in Clairemont, California. Her giving nature and humble persona instantly made her one of my role models and further engraved my belief in putting more kindness into the world.”
